Leadership
Director
The interim director of the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery (WID) is former UW–Madison Chancellor John D. Wiley. WID exists as a formally established UW–Madison academic center under the auspices of the Graduate School and Dean Martin Cadwallader.
Executive Committee
When mature, WID will be served by an executive committee. Chaired by the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery director, the executive committee will be composed of faculty and academic staff with principal investigator status whose labs or research programs are located within the public WID. The committee will include representatives from the five research themes as well as the scientific cores that constitute WID. The committee is appointed by the WID director.
